This week is better than Christmas for me. I love all the strong men and women I was surrounded by and all of the positive feedback we received. We do it all again tomorrow from 12-3 by the Union at UNT. Please stop by! If you think this movement is useless, wait until you see tears spilling from someone’s eyes and they tell you that you’re inspiring and thank you as they walk by because it means something to them. LOVE THE SKIN YOU’RE IN!

Why do these things always make me sick?
Everytime I start over, I get backed up, and sick.
I’ve done nothing but pee for the past 2 days, despite taking laxatives, my nose is so stuffed if I want to breath I have to use nose spray that irritates my nasal passage way, throat, and gives me a headache. So now I’m just sitting here being pissed off not eating anything because I’m 2 days backed up, so I haven’t pooped since my cheat day which means all that food is still in me, so I don’t want to add things to it.
So now I’m going to spend the next 2 days drinking hot water with lemon and honey in it because I hate tea, and lemon water is a natural laxative.
If that doesn’t work, I’m going to try the Salt Flush, which is a last ditch effort.

Today was my 2nd cheat day for the week. So no Intake/OutTake or total calories burned info today.
Rest of the week I need to stay on top of the game.

Day Ten - Do you feel like you have given anything up over the course of this process? If yes, what is it, and how do you feel about making the sacrifice?
No. I told myself I wasn’t going to cut out anything. I wasn’t going to sacrifice anything. The only thing I was giving up was eating a whole extra large pizza by myself at a time, and giving up sitting on my ass all the time.
I told myself I will eat whatever I wanted. I was just going to eat a bit less of it at a time. If I want to eat pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I will, as long as I stay under my fat/calorie daily intake goal.

Hey, do any of you guys do ‘spike’ or ‘cheat’ days on your weight loss journey? I’m reading a fascinating thread on it over on MFP, about how cheat or ‘spike’ days can actually help your body shed more fat, because your tricking your metabolism into working faster by switching up calorie intake.
There was articles that said that having this when you start out is a good idea, it’s a good idea to use when you hit a plateau, and it’s just a general good idea for those looking to loose some fat weight.
So I was thinking, maybe instead of beating myself up when I over eat, I would just consider that my cheat or ‘spike’ day, I mean, I still have to work on my binging, but at least I don’t have to punish myself for it.
I think I’ll start out between 1-2 days a week, and then cut out 1 day for a while, then re-introduce it, and just go back and forth. Like maybe one week I can have 2 cheat days, the next only 1, and back and forth.
Maybe I’ll just try it for a month, see how that goes. I mean, it didn’t hurt me last week, not with my 3.4lb weight loss.
I’ll go Wednesday - Wednesday, so last week I had 1 cheat day, so this week I’ll have 2. I already had one, so I just need to figure out when to have my next one.
